Welcome

Like some of the motorcycle community, but unlike most. I didn't really get into riding a motorcycle until I was fifty. I had a bike when I was about 21 stationed at Ft Hood Texas.  I sold my bike before I left, with intentions of getting another one when I got settled in. Then life happened as it does and I either didn't have the money, or the time, and my priorities shifted. Then when I was 49 something amazing happened, my wife of 18 yrs, who would not even entertain the thought of a motorcycle, left me. While I was trying to sort things out I decided to see a therapist. There were two roads home from the therapist, the new road, and the back road. The back road as luck would have it went right by the Suzuki Dealer. A friend had mentioned a big single cylinder "Thumper" that Suzuki has. So I decided to see if they had one and take a look. they had one, it was red, and within two hours, I owned it. Life has never been quite the same.
